How do I add or remove photos to display on my Portal TV?

You can use the Photo app to choose which photos to display on your Portal TV. You can display photos from Facebook albums, Portal albums and Instagram posts.

You can use the Portal app on your mobile phone to control your photos and add photos to your Portal.

Facebook and Portal Albums

To add or remove photos from your device:

  1. From Home on your Portal, select Photos. You may need to confirm your login to make changes.
  2. Select the album you would like to add or remove.
  3. Select Display to add or remove photos.

To hide photos:

  1. When photos display on your Portal TV and you see a photo you'd like to hide, press Down on your Portal TV remote navigation.
  2. Select Hide.

To unhide photos:

  1. From Home on your Portal TV, select Photos.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Hidden Photos. You may need to confirm your login to make changes.
  4. Select the photo you'd like to unhide.
  5. Select Unhide Photo.
  6. Select Show.

If you remove a photo from Facebook it will no longer display on Portal.

Instagram Posts

To remove your Instagram Posts:

  1. From Home on your Portal, select Photos.
  2. Select Settings, the select Instagram.
  3. Select the account you want to remove.
  4. Select Remove Account.

Portal App

To add photos from your mobile phone to a Portal album:

  1. Open the Portal app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Photos, then tap Create Album.
  3. Enter album name, then tap Done.
  4. Tap Add Photos, then tap photos from your phone’s camera roll.
  5. Tap next to your device to display or remove from photos.

To add or remove albums from the Portal app:

  1. Open the Portal app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Photos.
  3. Tap the album you would like to add.
  4. Tap next to your device to display or remove from albums.
