My Portal's smart camera is having problems automatically following my movement.

If your Portal's camera is having trouble following your movement, try the following:

  • If you're on Portal+, make sure your display is rotated to landscape mode.
    • On Portal+, when the display is positioned in portrait mode, the camera will pick the person closest to the camera to zoom in on and won't widen the picture to account for other people in the room.
  • End your call and then try again.
  • Power your device off and back on again.
