How do you use my 'Hey Portal' voice interactions?

“Hey Portal” voice interactions are used in a few different ways. Primarily, they are used to process and carry out your voice command. When you say “Hey Portal,” your voice command is sent to Facebook’s servers in real-time to process and respond to your request. We use stored “Hey Portal” voice interactions to help make our voice services get smarter, more accurate and better for everyone. We use a combination of human review and machine processes to troubleshoot and train our speech recognition systems. Lastly, we use “Hey Portal” voice commands to promote safety and integrity, and to help keep people safe on and off Facebook products.You can learn more about this in the Facebook Data Policy.

Currently, “Hey Portal” is only available in English (US/Canada), and will be disabled if you select any language other than English (US/Canada) as your preferred language on your Portal.
