How do we protect your privacy during human review?

We have a team of vetted, trained transcription vendors and select Facebook employees who assist in reviewing “Hey Portal” voice interactions. All of our employees and vendors must comply with strict privacy and security requirements in their handling of this information. We use controlled and monitored systems to ensure that the vendors and Facebook employees who are reviewing “Hey Portal” voice interactions access only the information required to complete voice services training tasks. And we protect your privacy by changing the pitch of your voice in "Hey Portal" voice interactions that are reviewed so it's difficult to identify you.

Currently, “Hey Portal” is only available in English (US/Canada), and will be disabled if you select any language other than English (US/Canada) as your preferred language on your Portal. Learn more about “Hey Portal” availability.
